Burst Pipe Repair - Rowville Secondary College

The Issue

At Rowville Secondary College’s West Campus, a significant underground leak was causing the loss of approximately 4,000 litres of water per day. Our team was engaged to carry out urgent detection and repairs with minimal disruption to the school’s daily operations.

Following a detailed leak detection process, we identified a failure in the 80mm copper water supply line located within the campus ring main system.

The Solution

Our works included:

• Isolating the affected area and securing the site with fencing
• Excavating the area to locate and expose the damaged section of pipe
• Rectifying the burst pipe and restoring the main water supply
• Completing all repairs safely during school hours without impacting staff or students

Thanks to careful planning and execution, the school’s water supply was fully restored, and significant water loss was eliminated — all without disrupting the daily running of the campus.
